The new Eric Geurts single, 'Love to Love', was released on 8 December 2020. Fittingly also on this day we commemorate the sad and untimely death, 40 years ago, of John Lennon. 

'Love to Love', written by Eric Geurts, is a musical tribute to the dreamer John Lennon, written in a style reminiscent of Lennon’s own distinctive Beatles style.

With a release date just before Christmas, 'Love to Love' is above all an idealistic plea for more love and peace in these challenging times. Staying with the theme of John Lennon’s music, the B-side is a cover of Lennon's song 'Love'.

Every year we go to the Philippines to visit my wife's family. The most important event during our yearly holiday is the organization of the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 in Manila during the Christmas season.

If we have enough money, we also make sure they have a take-away package, including a backpack with school supplies food (rice etc).

Due to the Corona virus, we cannot go this year, and so our next visit is planned on December, 2021. However, if we have enough funds before December, 2020, we will work together with a local church in the Philippines to organize the Feeding Program already this Christmas season.

Le nouveau simple de Eric Geurts, 'Love to Love', est sorti le 8 décembre 2020. Après tout, en ce jour, nous commémorons la mort (le meurtre) de John Lennon, il y a tout juste 40 ans. La face B symbolique est d'ailleurs une reprise de la chanson 'Love' de John Lennon.

'Love to Love', écrit par Eric Geurts, n'est pas seulement un hommage musical au rêveur John Lennon dans son style typique des Beatles. Juste avant Noël, c'est avant tout un plaidoyer idéaliste pour plus d'amour et de paix.

De nieuwe single van Eric Geurts, 'Love to Love', komt niet toevallig uit op 8 december 2020. Deze dag herdenken we immers de moord op John Lennon, net 40 jaar geleden.

'Love to Love', geschreven door Eric Geurts, is niet enkel een muzikaal eerbetoon aan deze idealistische dromer die met zijn 'groepje' de toekomst van de moderne popmuziek uittekende.

Net voor kerstmis, is het vooral een melodieus pleidooi voor meer liefde en vrede. De B-kant is overigens een cover van John Lennon's song 'Love'.
